In previous posts, we discussed cinnamon including its usages, benefits, side effects and even recommendations for dosing. Today, let us VNTC explore this significant spice story, about its journey starting from Vietnam’s farms up in far flung regions to the hands of consumers.

(Cinnamon forest in Yen Bai)
The Journey started at Lao Cai-Yen Bai provinces, well-known for their vast cinnamon forest stretching as far as the eyes can see, and the image of diligent Dao ethnic people working on this land. Yen Bai is a region named as the cinnamon capital of Vietnam, with over 81 thousand hectares of cultivation land, while Lao Cai is second with over 50 thousand hectares. Both regions are the major producers of cinnamon in Vietnam with total over 25 thousand tons each year and will continue to improve in the future.

(Gathering cinnamon from the forest)
These achievements could only be gained thanks to the experience of local people who have worked with cinnamon trees through generations and under the hand of these cultivation masters, just after 7-10 years, the trees will soon be mature enough to collect their quality barks.

VNTC is proud to be partnered with many Plantations placed in two provinces, with which we can always commit to offer our dear customer the finest batch of cinnamon, meeting their expectations.

(Processing cinnamon at VNTC factories)
After the barks detaching process, they are then transferred to manufacturing VNTC factories within the region – where they will further be processed into products with many forms such as: cigarette, broken, split, pressed or even powdered cinnamon that fit the customer demands.

(Packing the products – ready to export)
To safely deliver them overseas to the hand of our dear customers, the cinnamon must be nicely packaged as a method to prevent any potential external factors that affect them. These packages will depatched across the seas far from its homeland to markets around the world such as India, Dubai, Malaysia, Iraq and many others.
Finally, these cinnamon items will be placed on the shelf of the familiar local supermarkets, ready to be transformed into delicious meals, a warm cup of tea, a beauty product, a perfume, or improve your health – completing their remarkable journey.
